Henrietta's at The Dewberry

Henrietta's is the perfect spot for brunch on the weekends, but please don't let too many people know.  I would hate to have to start waiting in a line to get a table.  The food is terrific, the ambience is perfection, and there's nothing like Saturday morning people watching at the Marion Square Farmer's Market with a mimosa.

A pair of red velvet Ray-Bans to complete the dining al fresco experience. 

 Top off the beautiful day with this fine herb omelet with fries and this delightful burger with a bowl of butternut squash soup.

Melted cheese, caramelized onions, and a juicy burger atop a bun that melts in your mouth.

Mira Wine Tasting

Wine tasting, downtown?  Yes, now it's only a quick trip to Queen Street to enjoy wine from Napa Valley.

Drawing Room

 We often scurry to enjoy The Rooftop at Vendue Inn but we have all been missing out on what a gem lies just downstairs, the Drawing Room Restaurant.  

A friend of ours invited us to dinner and chef Jon Cropf made sure it was extra special.

Radishes with whipped butter...

Beets with duck prosciutto and smoked goat cheese...

Just when you thought you were full, sweetened carrot...

Then boom, this piece of art was set in front of us with it's own strawberry pour.  To achieve that beautiful precise sliver, the strawberry gelatin was cut with razorblades... amazing!
