Remember last year's 5 year anniversary celebration? I'll remind you...
This year was more low key but we are only 4 years from our next Queen Street parade for our 10 year anniversary!
We began our day with a golf cart stroll around beautiful downtown Charleston. We made a stop for our favorite Black Tap iced coffee followed by massages at Belmond Charleston Place's, The Spa.
The pool bartender whipped up a delicious pina colada and we sat poolside on the rooftop to finish off the perfect Charleston Place day.
Lunch at Palmetto Cafe never disappoints...
Mark went with the blueberry mojito and I started with the grapefruit and prosecco specialty cocktail.
With these delicious roasted red pepper, pesto, and olive tapenade spreads, Mark tried the "neapolitan ice-cream effect."
Guess who won the "who ordered better contest" this time? We both agree his seafood club is the best sandwich ever! Lobster, shrimp, bacon, smoked salmon, tomato, and some mouth-watering tarragon sauce.
Mmmmm!....
Don't misunderstand, this caesar salad, with scallops and shrimp, was terrifically tasty. The scallops were cooked perfectly plus it was all dressed up in this pretty little crouton bowl...
Just look at that lobster! Something about the béarnaise sauce was out of this world, I'm thinking it was the tarragon.
Just when we were so stuffed and couldn't possibly put another drop in our bellies, just look! Palmetto Cafe made our day so incredibly special with our favorite champagne, Veuve! Who told you I love Veuve so much?
Then, just when it couldn't have gotten any better, Palmetto Cafe went over the top, out came 2 incredible desserts...
We scooted back out in the golf cart to another favorite of ours, Bin 152.
We made one last stop for dinner at SNOB...but not before I quickly changed for dinner. Lucky for me, that only entailed switching my shorts for this white skirt. This bodysuit makes the transition from day to night that easy.

Finished the day with fried oyster topped swordfish and roast beef...
I personally think SNOB (Slightly North of Broad) has the best "medicine," as Queen Patricia would say on 'Southern Charm'. Really though, if you like a good dirty martini, SNOB is a must with their blue cheese stuffed olives. Yum!
We can't wait 'til next year's celebration!
