Welcome to the little Italian restaurant in Charleston's Elliotborough neighborhood, Trattoria Lucca.  It's quiet and cozy for the perfect date night.

They start your meal with this delicious hummus spread.  Yum!

Flat Iron Steak and Ravioli along with their Grouper Special arrived shortly after we ordered.

We really adore this space and the romantic lighting here.

The Ocean Course

My sweet mother-in-law was in town visiting last week and we wanted to do something relaxing.  I had the perfect place in mind, the Ocean Course at Kiawah.  We drove out to Kiawah Island and enjoyed an amazing lunch at The Ryder Cup Bar.

Look at these views...

The Ryder Cup Bar has a beautiful veranda where you can dine and enjoy the views of the ocean beyond the final hole of the golf course. 

We snacked on a mahi mahi sandwich and pulled pork sliders with broccoli rabe.

If you look closely, you can see the waves rolling in.  

We took full advantage of these chairs on the course.

It was difficult to leave this beautiful view so we tried out some of the rocking chairs on the veranda.
