Where are you from?

I grew up in upstate New York on one of the Finger Lakes, Owasco Lake.  My family is mostly from South Carolina and I have been dreaming of living in Charleston, SC ever since I can remember. I love it here and I feel so incredibly fortunate to be able to call Charleston my home.  My husband and I are happy little Charlestoners.

Who takes the photographs on Charlesmopolitan.com? 

Mostly myself, unless I'm in them of course, then it's usually a friend, my husband, or a photographer.  If the picture is taken by a photographer then he/she will be listed and you can find a link to their website.

What do you do? 

I'm a student lucky enough to have been accepted into the College of Dental Medicine at the Medical University of South Carolina.  I will graduate in the year 2016.

Do you make money from your blog? 

Yes. I'm signed up with a couple affiliate companies like Skimlinks. 

When did you start blogging? 

July 2013, during my one and only summer break while in dental school.  A couple of friends mentioned how much they loved my pictures on Facebook (especially because my husband and I live in one of the most amazing towns in the states) and that I needed to start a blog.  In addition, I am often asked by so many friends and family where to go and what to do while visiting Charleston.  Hopefully you can use this blog as a great guide to Charleston.  Here is a Charleston To Do List embellished with pictures and ideas.  Please encourage your friends to visit Charlesmopolitan.com when they are thinking of traveling to Charleston, South Carolina.
